Midway Community Garden, located in the heart of the Midway community, mission is to become familiar with residents to nurture their hopes, self-value, and abilities to succeed. Through gardening we will have the opportunity to address problems like drugs, violence and crime and organize individuals to utilize the services provided by Midway Community Resource Center and connect to the community service agencies in Midway neighborhood and Douglasville, Georgia area.

The Midway Community Garden is a vehicle to help, connect and serve this community with fresh vegetables and produce through gardening. This garden has stimulated social interaction and community development, encouraged self-reliance and has beautified the neighborhood. 

This is such an exciting adventure and we are sure as we garden we will not only reap a great harvest, we will also learn and re-learn life lessons through this gardening process.
