Volunteer Information

The Midway Resource Center welcomes willing volunteers from the community to help with all of our initiatives. However, for legal and risk management purposes, we are responsible for protecting those we serve, as well as our volunteers, and are therefore obligated to follow acceptable screening protocols. Volunteers should expect to attend an orientation session and sign the Volunteer Agreement. Please contact us if you'd like to be a volunteer! We have a number of opportunities available. There are also limited volunteer opportunities from time to time for individuals who need to fulfill community service hours. Please be advised that the Board, at its sole discretion, reserves the right to approve or deny volunteer requests.

The Resource Advisory Committee (RAC) of the Midway Community Resource Center is constituted for the purpose of providing insight and offering guidance into effectively meeting the needs of the Douglasville community that fall within the purview of MCRC’s mission statement, and to offer relevant suggestions and leads identifying sources of funding and potential funding relationships to support the purpose of the Center. Please let us know if you would like to serve on this committee.
